about
I wrote and rewrote this over a period of 1.5 years. I wanted a song that builds up energy and releases it as a different genre. This track kind of snakes its way from industrial to dance to orchestral. It's about control and trying to resist change. It's also about dancing.
lyrics
She said to me
I'm a dancer, you'll see
Tap your stupid feet
Pirouette baby
How can't you see
What you're doing to me
Hey - cut your strings
Let your hair down, you're free
I'll forget she was a dancer
You'll see
